On Friday, April 29, · 8:30-10:30pm, Scott Prairie, creative artist from New York, will personally tell you the love story in his music and writing, in a concert called “Who Is Julie Ann?”
Co-founder with his wife Mia Hsieh of the influential world music group A Moving Sound, this concert is the first time that Scott has performed with his own band in Taiwan. His unique style of lyrical rock is influenced by early ’80s avant-garde musicians David Bowie and Annie Lennox. It is a full-on live rock energy show, but with the tenderness and beauty of one who has deeply journeyed through life. Scott’s writing style is sincere, embracing the fragility and light of life. Through the melody and singing in his music he expresses an endless love and desire.
